Blogging; effective or not?

Blogging could be a great and effective way of communication, but at the same time, it could be a waste of time. Some pros about blogging are:

· You can share your thoughts with other people

· It is like a web-site except it is easier

· It can be anonymous and nobody will know who you are if you don't want them to know

· You can write about literally anything.

· Blogging can also be fun, but only if you are a good writer and other people actually want to ready what you are posting, because if nobody reads your blog, then what is the point?

If there are so many good things about blogging, why are there many people who don’t do it?

· If you don’t know what to write about, it gets boring

· If you are not writing because you want to, and somebody is making you do it, it gets boring

· If you are a bad writer, people will never read your blog and it gets boring

Blogging can be a great way of communication, but it only works with some people. Each person has to decide for themselves if it is something for them or not.

THE LAZY SONG

There is this new song by Bruno Mars that is called the Lazy Song and everything in his lyrics is completely true. There are some days were you actually agree with what he says and really feel like doing what the song says. The chorus part says: “Today I don’t feel like doing anything, I just wanna lay in my bed, don’t feel like picking up the phone, so leave a message at the tone, ‘cause today I swear I’m not doing anything”, I feel this way basically every single weekend, where you just seriously want to do nothing at all. This is why I think this song is so amazing because it is easy for to identify with it and it is very real. Also, the video clip of this song is absolutely awesome, Bruno Mars is with his monkey friends and it is really funny, I recommend this video. Urban dictionary is this awesome website where you can send your definition of any word, of people and mostly anything. It is called urban dictionary because many things have slang definitions and the actual meaning of it when you use it. Anyone can suggest a definition, but the administrators have to accept the definition or not accept it. When you start searching for definitions of people’s name it can get really funny since many of the definitions are funny, but it can sometimes get a bit rude. Once I tried to publish a definition for the name of a friend, but the administrators didn’t accept it, it was kind of sad, not really but it was a funny definition. Anyway, the

Soloenvenezuela.com is one of my favorite websites ever. It is something like failblog but many times funnier since it has pictures of crazy things that only happen in Venezuela. What makes it more interesting is that all my friends who have gone there told me it is all true, that those crazy and weird things actually happen. DAS BOOT

The website vat19 is a website that sells unique gifts and one of their new items is called "Das Beer Boot". It is a glass in a shape of a boot, but the glass is not a normal size glass, it is a bigger one. This boot is obviously useless, but at the same time so useful. It would be just awesome to have one of these boots. You can use it to store sweets, drink anything, but it was especially made to drink beer and it fits about four beer cans. This boot is just the best and most perfect birthday gift ever. For advertisement, vat 19 makes videos of their products and the video clip for Das Boot is the most awesome video ever. The guy who sings the song is German and so he has the German accent which makes the video super funny, he exaggerates everything and the lyrics of the song are also very random and weird. Sucker Punch

Sucker Punch is a new movie that came out and it is a very weird and interesting movie. It is one of those movies that it takes you a long time to understand exactly what is happening but after you do understand, everything makes sense. At the beginning of the movie you think that Babydoll (the protagonist acted by Emily Browning) is trapped in a gentlemen’s club and has to escape for freedom. Whenever she is going to dance in the club, she imagines a surreal world in Japan in which there is a war going on and she has to fight with the other girls against different creatures to collect five things. The five things are a map, a fire, a knife, a key and a fifth unrevealed object; these objects are supposed to give them liberty. She plans with her friends a escape and whenever she dances they all go to this imagined world and they fight while her friends are making efforts to obtain the five things. Throughout their journey, three of the five girls are killed in the surreal world and in the gentlemen’s club too. Babydoll and Sweet Pea were the only girls left and although they were sad, they had to co ntinue their fight for liberty. After they have the first four objects Babydoll realizes that she is the last object and that she will have to die for her friend to be free. After she is taken by the guards, the other girl leaves and suddenly there is a change in the environment. Babydoll is not in the club anymore, but she is in a asylum. Other people in the asylum say stories about her that matches up with what happened in the club, but what really happened is that everything that happened in the club was something in her head that matched with something she did in real life. Babydoll in real life had killed her sister accidently and her stepfather put her in an asylum and told the owner of the asylum to give her a lobotomy so that she would forget everything that happened. Babydoll died after this and her friend left and was free. The movie has one of those endings that seems like the movie still didn’t finish, it is up to you to decide what exactly happened in the end.

This movie is really complicated to explain and even to understand when you watch it, I think it was a very good movie and I would recommend it.

graffiting

I LOVE GRAFFITING it’s so cool. I really wish I was good at it because it is just so much fascinating and it just makes people seem cool too :P lol. I practice it a lot, and I even asked a friend who really good at drawing to help me but it just doesn’t seem to work, graffiti is not my thing, although I wish it was. There are these two Brazilian brothers who do grafting on walls together and are super famous now and their work is amazing. They are known as “Os Gemeos” because they are twins and this means twin in Portuguese. They have gone to other countries to paint for different companies or even the government. One of their works was painted in London, in the Tate modern museum on one of the outside walls. Overall I just wish I had some better art and specifically graffiti techniques.

music

MUSIC. It is feelings of happiness, sadness, scariness, love, hate. It is memories of laughter, fear, brutality, freedom, pain. It is dreams of joy, agony, horror, rage, sorrow. But it all comes down to one thing; it is what words could never explain or express by themselves. It is the feeling that only one could feel but not say to another. Music is the best way a person could ever explain what they feel. Music is sacred to most and valuable to all. Music is what gives people the liberty to say all they want to say and many times the freedom to say all the things they are not supposed to say. It lets you tell the world things that it is not ready to listen to and open its mind. Music is something that just takes you away from reality for some time and you are in your own little world thinking, feeling and writing whatever it is that comes to your mind. Music is the best way most people find to express what they have to say to the world and many times these things wouldn’t be said if music didn’t exist. Not mattering if it has many words or no words at all, music gives life to life.
